My husband and I have joint bank accounts. He told me almost a year ago he no longer loved me anymore he said he is planning on divorcing me however does not seem to have made any effort at all to even move out. His behavior has become very unlike him and I still haven't figured out if it is a mental health issue, addiction or an affair. He is the main account holder on most of our joint accounts except one. I have noticed that he has almost depleted one of our accounts and has been taking large sums of money out of the ATM. I need this to stop ASAP and protect the rest of our money. Before I confront him I was thinking I should put a hold on the account that I am the main account holder. Is this possible or is it possible for me to take his name off the account? I not planning on spending it I just need to make sure he doesn't spend it all! Please any advice that could be given as all as possible as I know I need to act on this and confront him.
From your description it sounds like he's having an affair. Don't confront him with your suspicions at this point. He will deny.
