Missy, please stop giving terrible advice. I would be livid if I came home and my wife was cuddling with another man. And there was deception involved considering she led her husband to believe she would be at work and omitted that she was at home wrapped up in another man's arms.
If she is having an affair, asking is the worst way to get information. Those in affairs do not typically admit until actual solid proof is presented. They will deny. Spot on, kt.

Not fiddling or gaslighting. I was the woman "cuddling" someone in a movie theater. My husband followed me and only saw the worst scenerio. Exactly, Missy - that's the worst case scenario. I'd be mortified if I found my wife cuddling with someone besides our children!

Of course he didn't believe it was a girl or that it was innocent. The case you are posting to (if true) is not a woman cuddling with a girl, so that's completely irrelevant. And it's totally offensive for you to come in trying to say it's all right. It's not all right for a man's wife to cuddle with another man, Missy. The fact that you once cuddled with a girl DEFINITELY doesn't make it right. And I can name you several men on this forum whose wives left them for another woman! Can you imagine how devastating that is for them, Missy? Can you imagine how hurtful it would be to those men to read this thread and see you talking about how sometimes cuddling someone else is okay, such as cuddling another woman? When you try to make this out to be okay, this is called gaslighting. It's also gaslighting when you say you're not doing it. Most people here whose spouses are in an affair are hurting and in pain and questioning their reality and doubting their feelings. Do not encourage them to doubt further. Do not try to make them think everything is okay when it is not okay. They need real help that actually works, not just personal opinions, especially not opinions that justify meeting emotional needs outside of marriage.

Granted, his wife and another man looks suspicious -- but is it really? Maybe he was gay. His wife cuddling a gay man would be infidelity! You can be unfaithful with someone who is not sexually oriented to you. It would be hurtful to him for his wife to cuddle even with a gay man.

Of course he didn't believe it was a girl or that it was innocent. It was months befoe he even spoke to me again. So your HUSBAND followed you into a movie theatre, assumed it was a man, didn't even get close enough to see if it was a man, left without confrontation, and didn't talk to you for months? Give me a break, ***EDIT***. Such a scenario would sound silly to a 4 year old.
