I have been married for 14 years to my awesome wife. We have 3 kids 14,10,8. My wife recently told me she is unhappy and she needs her space she wants to move back around her father and change the kids schools. She says it's too late to fix things. I can't accept that. I am realizing now why she's upset it's all my fault I haven't been the supporting husband I should have been. I was never willing to help with the kids example getting up at night with the newborns to changing diapers I always thought that since I work and she was home with the kids that was her job. Let me go deeper I don't do anything with the house laundry, dishes, cleaning and getting the kids to school. But I thought that was normal . She would complain and I would say well I work to pay the bills and you work to take care of the house. When she would call me to ask what time I would be home for dinner I would say I don't know make dinner if I'm there I will eat with you if not I will heat it up, I also said it in a tone of irration. Not good I see it now I never meant to hurt her I just didn't realize the pain I put her through. There's more I know isn't what I've told you enough but she has panic attack s and anxiety when she would have an attack I would tell her that's what I call stress and to get over it. I realize now that's not how it worked . She is the center of my world and I never knew the damage I put her through and I never intended to hurt her I didn't know I wasn't listening. Im here looking for help I'm thinking about going to a therapist she doesn't want to I think the love is there from her I know it's there from me we just need to reconnect and I need to be a better husband. Please help
