Also, did you look at the phone records to see how many times they were in contact?

Yes, I have the name. I've searched for that name and can find almost nothing. I even searched for it in the friend's list of his OW from last year, and her husband. Nothing.

He doesn't have OS friends. No women have his phone number except family members.

Yes, and nothing. This was the only contact.

Where does she live? Around you or away? Co-worker? Old high school classmate?

Did you do an intelius search on the name?

She lives about an hour and a half drive away. If the info is accurate, she's 20 years too old to be a classmate. Could be a coworker.

Yes, did an intelius search on the name. Same info.

Wow 20 years old and she isn't on any social networks?

If she is a co-worker then why is she texting him?

No, she's 20 years older than him. I don't know who she is or why she's texting him, and this is obviously something I need to address with my husband. My question is how should I figure this out and is it OK, as far as the principles of MB go, that I'm keeping this a secret from my husband?

Yes, Dr. Harley would encourage you to snoop without telling your husband.

The general rule is that we should never do anything without enthusiastic agreement between us and our spouse. (Policy of Joint Agreement).
However, the exception to the Policy of Joint Agreement is for cases of safety or health. Dr. Harley considers infidelity to be a dangerous threat to health of the betrayed spouse and that is why snooping is not only permitted, but encouraged by Dr. Harley.
