My H and his OW wasted a huge amount of time and federal assets. He was so foggy that he had no idea until after D-day. The military continues to ignore plenty of affairs, although this week there is a brigadier general who is being court martialed for sexual assault for "forcing" his three year affair partner to have oral sex against her will.

Love that article! At my company, workplace cheaters are typically dismissed. They are considered loose cannons and walking lawsuits.

AM What I would do to have the military finally stand up to adultery. Good grief they let my WxH and his whore (both Captains BTW) go on and on and on ... they did nothing except tell them to take it underground more so no one continued to find out!!!

That's because the leaders are having their own affairs. I have a friend who worked in the Dod IG office and she described her job as "all zippers and bottles". Yet, look at the very small number of senior officers who face consequences of adultery. Secondly, senior officers who are in or have had affairs simply don't investigate affairs within their commands. In our case, the OW's previous affair partner was a two -star general. OWH did not expose the affair, so they both got away with it. Then OW hooked up with my H. How different all our lives would have been had OWH exposed at work! As it was, after H admitted to the affair and both were punished, OW was ostracized at work. So, at least she was unable to move on to affair partner 4 (or more).
