Checked on facebook, not there. searched web with email address, and nothing came up. I agree it is going too slow, but I just don't have HARD evidence. I have her reactions to previous questions, prior history, and a quick glance at some emails that suggests an affair.
Believe me, I want nothing better than to expose and move forward. I fear that I just don't have the ammunition at this time and she will just continue denying.

Well, you have hard evidence in the emails you read, but you just don't have a NAME. That is what you need.
I would do everything in your power to find out WHO this person is even if you have to hire a PI. Have you checked any of the background services like spokeo, etc? Doing a quick google search and then giving up isnt' going to get you far.
