Why is it so quiet?

Please don't mention this year's World Cup. The USA did much better than England.
The shame. It's not even a game you take seriously! The only "cup" I know about is my Starbucks coffee cup!!

WE are football people - or so we've always told ourselves.
That game Americans play where they hurl themselves at other people and occasionally throw the ball backwards is not football. Football involves the foot making contact with the ball!
