If I remember you both like fitness. Find a local gym that has a got watch and work out together. Go on walks or runs, I used todo that a lot with my WW. A slow jog and engage in conversation. Summertime picnics where you both make the food together. BRAINSTORM!

They figure out low cost dates and find creative ways to line up babysitters.

We make great use of parks at this time of the yearwalks holding hands, alone or with the dogsbike ridesevents for recreation that they have plannedkayaking seems to be pretty common at this time of the year and two people in the kayake means you have to POJA the direction you want to go in really QUICK hahaha!

Can you get a blow up pool for your yard? Craigslist? Freecycle? Hubby and I got an above ground pool off of Craigslist WITH a heater smile and we use that at least every other night now.

Grant you, our kids are grown now, but that brings me to another babysitting ideaother couples who are recovering from marriage problems are prime candidates for helping out! We now help out two other couples and happily watch their kids for them so that they can go out on dates. I swear that us watching these kids IS recreational companionship for US now lol. One of these couples never talked about their marriage trouble, we just spot IB now a mile away, and so we offered. It seems to be helping them and it's definitely a blast for us (we have no grandkids yet).

In addition to all the other posters great ideas. Find other couples and trade babysitting for each other.

Too much hurt and pain on both sides that my brain hurts just thinking about it all.
