recovering texts w/o downloading app onto phone

H is VERY tech savvy and would most definitely know if something has been downloaded or tampered with. I found the following:

if you can get a hold of the phone for a little while, apparently you plug the phone and the spy stick into a computer at the same time, a window/app on the pc pops up, and in 90% of the cases, it takes 20 minutes to transfer the information.

Note that I have not used this yet, so I do not have a good or bad review.

Wondershare Dr Fone is a good starting place. It works well without jail breaking and isn't too expensive.

BTW, I am, unfortunately, new to this site. I have researched investigative tools for months. It's so confusing on what works with what and how. I wish there were more sites like this where the suffering can find good information on what will actually work. While Wondershare for IOS may not be the absolute best because deleted texts come up all garbled and with wrong dates at times, it does show enough to follow the bread crumbs if the deleted info hasn't been rewritten.. It's not as expensive as others such as Flexispy (would love to try Flexispy, but it requires a jailbreak from what I've read and it's costly as compared.) Good luck to us all out there in the trenches tonight. It's a lonely place to be without support , thus so happy to find this site. Pov
