I just found a neat website. It is called www.thrivenet.com It includes stories about people who have overcome tremendous loss and betrayal with a renewed hope and positive outlook on life and outlines characteristics of people who have managed to "survive" these horrible tragedies. I found this site very uplifting.
[This message has been edited by TheStudent (edited November 08, 1999).]

Hi Student,
Hey thanks that is a great site, I've bookmarked it ....I really was inspired by the woman who lost both parents, had her H leave her with 3 small kids and then became an amputee from a car accident.....wow, what spirit!....makes you realize that it's our choice what we do with what is handed to us....Lu

hi student,
thank you for the site!
How are you? I have always felt that we have the choice to be a survivor or a victim. Simply put we are not always dealt what we feel is a fair hand, but it is ours, and we alone choose what to do with it. thanks, cl [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
