I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post in or not. Nearly 3 months ago, my husband of 22 years left me and our kids and began an affair. While I have come to realize that I have responsibility in the demise of our marriage, it seems he has turned his back on everything he once loved and believed in. I do not want a divorce, but cannot continue indefinitely in a situation where he is living elsewhere and sleeping with someone else. I have learned much during this time thanks to our loving Lord, but my heart hurts so badly. I don't think I will ever stop loving him despite this betrayal.

Hi mae, welcome to Marriage Builders. I am sorry for the reasons that have brought you here. Do you know very much about this OW? Where did he meet her? Has his affair been exposed?

Have you read Dr Harleys advice on this?
Are you prepared to expose the affair? Exposure tends to hasten the death of the affair and show caring: that you will not stand idly by or help cover up.
Exposure is also different than people merely knowing. It asks for help and provides a one-day wake up call for the wayward spouse.
