I simply never could do what happened to me to another human being. Not even the one who inflicted it on me.
But most especially I wouldn't do it to myself or to my future prospects for fidelity.

If He/She is willing to cheat with someone, then the will be willing to cheat on that person too.
Stop the false God based blessings on your actions. It's pathetic and a slap in realities face.
Anybody can manipulate and justify why they are doing something wrong, even violating the Commandments, just as you have done.
What can someone learn from you?
They can see how easily denial and self justifications can allow themselves to hurt others and glorify their sin.

It used to make me really angry when separated people would approach me on dating site in spite of my outspoken profile preferences. How DARE they approach me as a mistress to get entangled in marital problems. likely never been able to have been freed . Ugh. Disgusting. Men who have no interest in 'freeing' themselves like big boys remain in contact with their wives in a high conflict and abusive way.

The psycho-analyzing on this thread is insightful for me. Everyone always knows what they think is best for another person. I'm not claiming that at all. I'm just saying what was right for me, that's all. For others out there going through all manner of issues in their relationships, perhaps my story may give them some comfort and encouragement. I'm a Harley-ite too. Don't forget that. :-)

It's disheartening for someone who claims to be a supporter of the kinds of healthy relationships Dr. Harley promotes, would find it disgusting that I would desire to be free of an abuser. To me, criticizing another person for exercising the courage to stand up against societal taboos in order to do the right thing is rather disgusting.

I didn't become one in the process.
