Typed the whole story and lost it when I tried to post, so this is just a test first to figure out what I am doing wrong. If it does work, and you read it, I am interested in finding out if there are any other wives of Pilots at thiS BB. If so I will post more later!
Thanks

Here I am replying to my own post, but since the other one worked this time I will expound.
First, I am really glad to have found this BB! Hope I can be of as much help to you guys as I know you will be to me!
The story...
Discovered my H of 18 years has been having an affair with OW in another state for two+ years! He is a pilot and managed to bid most of his trips to HAWAII where she lives. Talk about a fantasy life. She is married, too. and has been very nervous that I was going to expose her secret to her H. I have some VERY revealing pictures! I cvould do it, but don't see the point. I have talked to her several times, and she says she does not want to talk to or see my H anymore, that he is too much trouble. WE will see. I do know that he has not been back to Hawaii since Feb when I discovered the affair. We are doing pretty good now, but I know that he would really like to "still get to talk to her" once in a while and fear he may just do that when he is flying around. Have no way of checking that out!
Since Feb. there have been many lies uncovered, secrets exposed and tricks revealed, ie. I was tricked into letting him send her a new computer the he "had promised her" with the understanding that she was going to pay him back. That is another story for another time....
This post is really a quest to discover if there are anyother pilot wives out there. I theorize that there is a higher incedence of infidelity in the aviation industry. EVERY SINGLE Basic need for both partners goes unmet everytime the pilot is gone, in some way or another. Dr. H. talks about the damage even one nite apart can do to a relationship. I believe we will survive this, but would like to hear some suggestions on how to counteract the threats that job related seperations cause. I could go on and on, but will save my thoughts for the handbook I want to write for Pilot's wives!
Thanks for listening.

Well, not a pilot, but my H is in the airline industry and I agree that infidelity is very frequent there. In all areas, from maintenance to the flyers. And he met the OW at the airline.
One thing that I did do was to call the company that they worked for and report that I was considering suing them for allowing our legal contract of marriage to be broken while on company time and with the knowledge of superiors.
That got their attention and they called each of them in and were put on notice and written up for it.
