He did it because he had or has poor boundaries. Has he taken extraordinary precautions so that neither of these happen in the future?

Yes nothing has happened since then. I guess I think he should love me as much as I do him I could never do it to him so maybe I feel like our love isn't equal if that makes sense

You are still in pain because you haven't recovered from this emotional affair and this is a process that doesn't happen overnight. Aside from his new changes and extraordinary precautions, recovery is a process that requires spending 15 hours UA per week, meeting each others emotional needs, and eliminating love busters.

Also, take a look at givers and takers concepts. I think with what you mentioned, "our love isn't equal", this concepts will help you understand, and it is so much true. You must balance giver and taker. Trust me on this one. I also used to think that our love wasn't equal, until I read and learned to implement this concept.

Would he be willing to try MB concepts?
