What I found shocking was how frequently he defends her to me. I have known her for 10 years (Iworked with her) and I know how many affairs she has had. She is a true PREDATOR.The thing is, he knows I have spoken of her many times over the years, but still laughs and refuses to believe this about her!
He thinks they are just "rumors" from jealous catty women! Where does this defending of the OW come from!Doesnt he realize this makes it hurt MORE?

Aces,
Yes this is one of the most hurtful parts of post discovery for me too! My H defends the OW, even now almost a year after discovery. I think it hurts so much because he didn't (doesn't) protect me! He did care to protect my feelings, my health, or my well being.
I often wonder why I keep on keeping on with this. I need him to defend me! But I think this is something I will never get......

hmmm, I'm not sure which is worse them defending the enemy, or thenm worrying soooo much about the op's poor little feeling, I mean really the spouse is crying, about to lose their mind, and h says, oh I've got to go to her, she's crying. AAARRRGGGGGGGG its like op is the only person in the wiorld whos pain is real.
------------------
Just call me - Deb
------------------------
The only day I can do anything about is today, yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not yet mine.
