Never underestimate the depths a wayward will go when they are committing adultery. Murder happens more often than one sees reported on the news.

People committing adultery can and do destroy everything in their path which has generational consequences.

I find this scary. So many stories on someone ending their spouse's life for an affair partner. Sometimes I wonder if it can happen to me. But I tell myself I'm just getting paranoid by the news.
