My H now says he is filing for D. Are there any success stories out there when the WS came back after filing? I could use some hope.

Last year about this time, as the EA turned into a full-blown PA, my WH forced me, very much against my wishes, to file for a "no fault" D (threatening to take everything from me, etc., if I didn't do as he asked), then changed it to a Legal Separation, then we put it into "reconciliation." H wanted to try again, A was on ice, then resumed, now he wants a Legal Separation again, though not a D. This is not a success story, but it shows, I think, that WS's often don't know what they want when they are in the fog. I, too, would be interested in hearing any success stories!! octavia99

MIne filed for D on me 6 wks ago and cancelled it soon after. He had told me he thought I could never forgive him ( though I said that I would) that we were too different, he didnt love me, he was in love with OW etc etc! He wanted me to agree to an easy divorce dissolution. I completely refused due to my religious beliefs and that we've been married 15 yrs and have 3 kids one of which is still real small. I knew he was in midlife crises- OW pressured him to file on me to resume his A with her.SHe is single and determined to get him to divorce me and marry her. So he filed to keep her happy but I do believe he was quite confused about his true feelings at the time. But then when I Told him I would file for main custody and move to another state with the kids and start my life all OVER that woke him up! Plus I told him that he would have to find an appt right away as my attorney would kick him off my couch. ( this was true too!)told him he should worry about his eternal home not just his "NEXT " home. Then I prayed alot. It worked- we are finally in counseling together 4 mo past d-day. Good luck to you. lifeismessy
