My fiancee moved out of our house last month. He said that he needed his space. He said that he still wanted to date me, exclusivly, but then a few days later changed his mind and said that we needed to go our seperate ways and that it was over...but he still wanted to stay friends.
I couldn't take the pain of my ring anymore, so I gave it back to him over breakfast one morning...we only talked about menial stuff, but it was fun, and we enjoyed each others company.
The next day he told me that he had been seeing someone for the last 6 months...I'm hurt and confused..but I want to work through it. He said that he's still in love with me, but that he doesn't feel that there is any way we can stay a couple..that's its best for me to move on.
I know that I should hate him. He's apologized and cried, and held me when I cried, and wants to stay friends. I don't think I can be just friends. Is there any way to work through this as a couple and not just as friends? Can you go back, or is the saying "once a cheater, always a cheater" true...?

Shigirl
My advice is for you to first decide if you want to stay with someone who did this before you have even been married. If you decide that you think you have a good future with this man then you should go to Plan A. You should read through this website and take a hard look at what needs were not being met by you to make this happen.
Become his best friend again, don't do any Love Busting.
The people in this website will have good advice for you.
