Happy to say we suceeded. Started 6 years ago with my emotional affair to his 3 year long affair which involved 6 seperations. We have both learned a lot and now we are enjoying and appreciating each other and we are going to Tahiti this year on our 25th anniversary and renewing our vows!
Lilly

My w had 2 A's in 1989 and then another in 1999. So it was 10 years and now 2 years. I really hope and pray that this time it takes. We are happy so far....but that is what I said 3 years ago.

Hi,
My husband and I are well into recovery, and have been for nearly a year after one false start! He lurks here, and has occasionally posted as firestorm.
We aren't recovered yet, and I don't think we'll ever be "done" with the work it takes to recover, but we have committed ourselves to keeping our marriage intact.
The common belief seems to be that it takes about two years for things to really get better, so I guess we're nearly half way there this time. If the affair hadn't been rekindled and forced us to start at the beginning, we'd almost be at the two year mark now.
Peppermint
