My WH has been moved out of our home since March 5, 2001 and has contact with me only 1 time. Very limited contact with our two teenage sons. He filed for divorce about a month ago, but has not proceeded to push the paper work and what is required to get proceedings moving done. He called younger son and took him yesterday from 1:00pm until 10:30pm, shock, shock. I haven't talked to son as I was in bed when he got home, but wondered if the Fog was lifting or if the lawyer told him to spend more time with him. The OW and he are supposedly over, she moved 1 1/2 hours away. I wondered if others have experienced the same thing, and will my STBXH ever talk to me or face me again. I can't believe that we spent 19 years talking 5 or 6 times per day and now he and I haven't spoken but once in 4 months! It is really sad. He is so messed up!

SEF:
Having been in the fog myself, I can state that you will be confronted with irrational conduct (although it will make perfect sense to him now, it won't after he comes out).
You can do a Plan B letter ... thereby letting him know that the door is still open, but that he has to follow a certain course of action to enter it.
Suggest to him that he read Surviving an Affair, even give him a copy with the letter, if possible.
Beyond that ... tempus vidi. Time will tell. If he comes out of the fog, you can both begin the process of healing and repairing your marriage using Dr. Harley's tenets. If he does not, you will at least have created the separation necessary to heal yourself.
Godspeed and good luck,
STL
