When my first husband left me abruptly in May of 1999, I was overweight and out of shape. I started working out twice a day to relieve my rage and it really helped to alleviate the anger! I did lose all of the weight, mostly from diet, but it helped tone me up immensely and got me into the habit of working out every day. I am in better shape in my 40's than I was in my 20's. I think it also helped my mental health tremendously because I was able to cope. Has anyone else tried exercise to alleviate the pressure and tension?

always works for me!
when my first wife's mommy came to take her home (she was 17 i was 18 i married her because she had supposedly been raped and was pregnant) i wieghed in at a whopping 132 lbs at 5'10".
3 years later when i came home i was 230lbs had won several local bodybuilding competitions was ranked by a national bodybuilding commision and had actually tried out for the all army powerlifting team!
anyway i let my current wife keep me out of the gym for over 10 years it supposedly robbed the "Family of Time" but in the past 2 years ive been back at it, just woke back up after a year lay-off guilt from the A and the same "Family time" arguement.
ive always found that being in the gym always centers me.
seeing the results of the training just energizes me, gives me life where sometimes none seems to exist.
