I agree with these Words. I am a firm believer in God, his Word and his Son. Whether or not a person believes in God, his laws and commands still apply. To believers and non-believers. Ignorance is no excuse. Sure, the consequences of adultery may not be seen immediately by the guilty parties, but they will definitely reap what they sow (another law/principle). The consequences may take years to emerge, but guaranteed they will. God says vengeance is his. That helps me in the healing process, with forgiveness, knowing that it is not over until God takes care of it. And believe me, he does. One final note – the adulterers who end up marrying each other who believe that God will bless their marriage are deluded. God cannot bless what is cursed.

It seems in all the cases where the husband forgives the wife of adultery and then they live happily ever after, there is no punishment for the wife. Also if the husband truly forgives the wife, does he want punishment for his wife? Why does he want her to suffer some more (assuming she suffered which some wives don't). Or does it depend on whether the wife suffered or not?
