Hello all. Well I'm back from N.Y.C. my father had his surgery today at Sloan. What an emotional day. He was in surgery 51/2 hrs. He is doing okay and is in recovery the next few days are crucial. At his age and the typeof surgery he had the biggest concern is the possibilty of pneumonia. Please remember him in your prayers. I can't believe that I am still up I've been up since 2am. We didn't get home until almost 9:00. I'm feelng a little overwhelmed tonight. WH cameby and got the kids off to school and picked them up tonight. Called me twice while I was at the hospital to see how things were going with my father. I told him that I really need him to be there for me now. I have to deal with my father being in thr hospital away from home it's not as though I can jump in the car and go see him. I am theonly child and have to be there for my elderly parents. I thank God that I have a close family who is there for me. I'm tired and overwhelmed and really need my H to be there right now to help out a little. Please remember my father in your prayers he really needs them. Am I expecting to much from WH right now? How much more can I take? I really need a break I can't handle any more stress. I have to be strong for my parents and my kids this is all starting to take a toll on me I have to keep going though.
cybil
cybil

cybil,
Remember that the Lord does not give us more then we can handle, yes sometimes we wonder how much that is. You are doing a super job. And no you are not asking too much of WH to help out, that is what spouses do for each other pick up the slack. Too bad WH doesn't see it as the true act of love that it is. That old fog again.
Your family will be in my prayers tonight too. Dawn

Cybil,
The stress you are under is horrendous. Please know that you and your family are in our prayers. It is hard to be so far away from your family. I know, I have never been close to mine.
Please take care of yourself...I will be thinking of you.
MnM
