Quick summary:
Back in May (or April) I got tested for std's etc. For the most part, all came back clear. Except for an abnormal pap which resulted in me having to get a colposcopy done in late August (all of this and a miscarriage inbetween).
The colposcopy is where they actually take a tissue sample from the cervix to do a search for cancerous growths.
Well.. the news is that all is fine!! Everything turned out normal! WOOHOO!!!
I had promised an update on this months ago.. so for those who remember... that's why this post. ( I just got the results this afternoon - finally!)
Thanks to all who helped me through it at the time [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Karen
Wow! Thanks for the responses [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
I have a tubal ligation lined up for November 14th, then I have my next pap in late Feb. If all is well then, I'll be back to the normal annual visit.
Everything else is going well for me and my family. H is still out of work, but has started receiving his unemployment insurance (whew!), I've started looking into some part time work to give me a chance to get out of the house every now and then, and the kids are doing fabulous!
H and I are still taking things one day at a time, but we're making great plans for our future. Thankfully, we are on the same wavelength as to what we want out of life for us (but we're working on POJAing how we go about reaching those goals...lol). I guess it's just everyday life stuff (for us anyways).
I'm getting less and less triggers all the time. OW#1 is a pitiful excuse for a human being in my eyes - for good. She no longer has any control over me (not that she knew she did to begin with).
H and I need to put some time into our family web page.. but I have the CUTEST pics of the twins (almost Ann Geddes style) that I'm dying to share to whomever wants to take a look at them. I can be emailed at 4topie25@home.com and I'll forward them back to you if you want a peek. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Karen
