I'm really curious, do WS act strangely to everyone around them, or only towards their spouse/children? Can friends and co-workers pick up that the WS has changed into an evil alien?<P>SAU<P>

Several of our friends have noticed that he treated me like s*** at times. Some of them have even called him on it. He has not confided in any of his friends, as far as I know. Last year, he told his best friend that I had gone crazy and thought he was cheating but that he never had (a total lie). Thank goodness that his best friend and wife (She is also one of my 3 best friends) love me as much as they love him. They are supportive of our marriage without being judgmental of him, but they do understand why I am having a problem dealing with H's infidelity. H doesn't know that they know the truth.

Eventually the actions of the WS become evident to others. Many think the world does not know they have changed but they are fooling themselves. One of the tragic misconceptions is that they think the children don't know. <P>Our children are probably one of the first to know sometimes even before the BS. To deny this piece of knowledge is to be a fool. <P>Yes, the world does know, it just might not say much for now. For me, now when I go out, I am more aware of the conduct of others. A shifty man or a nervous woman with guilty looks are dead ringers for As. On the other hand some are very good at hiding it but like a pregnant woman in tight jeans, eventually something has to give.....<P>L.
