I did not surfing. Did a lot of talking with WH (not all good, not all bad) and reorganized the kids video collection. Cleaned out hamsters cages, started another book... why does this stuff always happen on my days off????
Snow

Great question after a week off!!!!
I returned from a week away (on the 4th), then went whitewater rafting with my boyscouts. Rebonded with my computer at work. DIDN'T rebond very well with my W at home (W has been spending a lot of time online.)
Went to bed really early a few nights. Brewed some beer. Listened to most of Bill Harley's radio segments on the main web site -- they're wonderful. I think they've inspired me to work a little harder. Not a good week to be cut off, but I survived. I wasn't in much of a posting mood anyway (withdrawal stage?)
Hope the forum stays stable. Got my fingers crossed.
Jeffers

I've got my fingers crossed with you Jeffers.
Thanks again to STEVE for his hard work... must have put in a lot of extra hours for our benefit. God Bless!
I can't express how much help this board is. I don't normally post that often, sort of sputs of activity on my part. But I read every day, and the strength of others, along with a lot of good advice, keeps me going, day to day. It has been REALLY hard. Throw in the fact that our MC appointment was cancelled this week (MC schedule conflict), well, let's just say it wasn't pretty.
Hey, at least we got some stuff done around the house!
And some of us were lucky enough to get out and go hiking!
Snow

H took me to San Diego to a conference...but I was ill while there .
Sunday we bought new cell phones. Monday I asked him not to give out new # or make calls to OW or Young-un...BIG discussion! I was very depressed Tuesday...had a couple of women at work pray with me and that night he said in the midst of another conversation that since "I was the only one going to be calling him on his phone..." I know, I know...no assumptions...but it gave me hope...
I sent him a couple of music ecards...one with Alicia Keys "Fallin" and the other Brian McKnight's "Fresh Start" (or something like that).
Our new phones have a text message feature, so I have also been sending him emails during the day...sometimes I just send hugs, kisses and smiles...XXXOOO .
He hasn't complained that it is overkill yet...
I also restarted my quest to lose more weight, so I am in the ATTACK phase of the SCAN*Diet (GNC). I am doing pretty well...I bought a gorgeous red dress a size too small as incentive .
So glad to be back!
Thanks Steve!!
Cali

Snow,
I was thinking of sending Steve an E-card. Although, I don't know if getting lot's of email after spending your weekend and evenings upgrading some software would be a "good" thing or not.
I also do more reading here than posting. Too many times the reading turns into hours of thinking .
Cali,
Good to see that there are more smilies than frownies in your post .
W made me get a cell phone after we spent $150 on long distance during my previous trip. I was teasing her about the bizarre features the phone had, like secret phone book entries???? I can only think of one purpose that could be used for. -- She didn't take the teasing too well. She made the same comment about the phone being used to call only one number.
She gets to carry it when I'm home, but she won't keep the durned thing turned on so I always end up in voice mail. I think the primary reason to have one of these phones is to keep us connected.
It has a web service that we get free for 3 months. I don't want to pay for it so we don't need to learn how to use it.
I guess I'm feeling a little talkative after all this down time.
Jeffers

Well, a bunch of us from MB got together on MSN chat, and had a great time! We did this a few times over the week.
It was good to get to know them better...and we were all able to joke and laugh and kid each other. So it was inspirational for me, because here we were, a bunch of people with BIG problems in our lives, and we could still be happy .
Love and light,
Jacky
