I'd like some input on what people thought were some good books. I know some people have talked about them some in posts but it would be easy if we had them all listed together.
I have Surving An Affair, After the Affair, and Your Husband, Your Friend. What else is good and has been of help to you??

I just finished reading "When a Mate Wants Out" by Conway & Conway (Zondervan Publishing House, 1992, 206pp). Good, prayerful perspective on rebuilding the marriage.
They support many of the same principles found on this site: Work on YOU, Plan A (though they don't call it that), meeting WS emotional needs, etc...
I highly recommend this book to BS who are trying to PLAN A....and eventually to WS when they've committed to working on the marriage. I hope my own WS will eventually read it, but I'm not forcing the issue right now.
Very good book, hope inspiring!
Kev
[ October 25, 2001: Message edited by: kevco- ]

I'm also reading "Soul Mates" by Thomas Moore (Harper Collins Publishers, 1994, 259pp)
This book is a little difficult to get through at times. There are multiple references to classical psychology and myth. But it gives good perspectives on the inner-workings of relationships ant people.
I'm only about 1/4 through, but at this point I would recommend it to BS.
Kev

The Divorce Remedy by Michele Weiner-Davis is pretty good, especially with "tactical" advice.
I would also second Medved's book listed above. It has provided some good motivation to stick this out.
- Tom

I second the recommendations above.
Please add "Private Lies" by Frank Pittman. Pretty heavy reading, but packed with insight.

Did anyone mention "Torn Asunder" by Dave Carder? A definite must for the post-A library.
(BTW, take a pass on Lusterman, "Infidelity: A Survival Guide".)

The Prodigal Spouse by ??? Boundaries by Cloud & Townsend Getting the Love you Want by Harville Hendrix, Hiding from Love by Townsend, Women who Love to Much by Robin Norwood...
All of these recommended at one time by my therapist...
So...JustPlainCali...what is on your reading LIST? I am the same...have 'em stacked up in line to read....
For the women out there...I especially enjoy the O (Oprah) Magazine....Each month has a different topic and mostly deals with taking care of yourself....

Hi there, I agree with all recommendations mentioned above. Especially
THE DIVORCE REMEDY
I think it is quite similar to Harley's approach.
