Oh I like these, my STBX could had been a "waffle" last yr; in 99 he could had been "sitting on the fence" & this yr he could be "slime" or as he thinks he should be "father of the year" for all the scarfices he has made for his sons. gag, gag, gag but in any of the last few yrs he could be Pinoncio
now he would cast the OW as the "Fairy Godmother" who has made all his dreams come true while I am the evil old hag that ruined his life

OMG! lol
[ October 31, 2001: Message edited by: Resilient ]

Note: This is not Orchid. In my opinion, they should all dress as matching choclate starfish (more to the point [censored]) since they like to treat us like sh**!

Jo - Personally, I thought the resemblance between "Lana Dearest" (gag) and the Bride of Chucky was uncanny!
As for my H's XOW, I think she should wrap herself in a quilt and go as a Pig in a Blanket!!! I love you so much, CB!
Lana Dearest does look like Bride of Chucky, altho, I think Bride of Chucky has all her own teeth.
I'll never "ever" forget your post about how your H's XOW would need a herd of cattle to make herself a leather mini skirt ... Wooooo Hoooo!
I am truly laughing out loud, CB! Gawd you're funny!

Ok, this is 'not orchid' again. I see you didn't like my diet Oscar Meyer version (hallo wienie). So I will try again.
How about a Psyco babble rabbit? Hey, I know one that is like that without having to put on a costume!!!!! LOL!
No signature this time..... I might get in trouble

Oh my! What fun. I want to play...
My H's costume would have to be a giant "? mark"-- Very appropriate...and very fitting:
who me?
what?
where?
when?
are you suggesting I lied?
OW would be dressed up as the "Virgin Mary"...
I NEVER did anything wrong.
I would NEVER have participated if your H hadn't convinced me it was "okay".
Of course, I'd be the one dressed as a "rock"...because according to my H I'm no fun, never want to do anything, and like to lay around .
Too funny! ~Marie

OK, with the authority invested in me because I started the thread, I'll be the judge for the best suggested costume: (dern, there's no smiley for a drum roll, so I'll use rolleyes)

First place: the fat WAFFLE suggested by hurtinginil.
Second place: the ? suggested by Marie (I was heavily influenced for the choice by my memory of that ancient music video of 96 Tears by Question Mark and the Mysterions - anybody else remember?)
Too bad there weren't more suggestions for BSs - no one even suggested a doormat with dog poop whiped on it. I thought of going as a yard sale - ya know - all those used-to-be precious family belongings sold for 1 cent on the dollar - but this wasn't funny enough.
WAT

Just had to get one more in here. WS as sanitation man and BS as the "trash" being dumped.
That's exactly how he made me feel.
Is there anyway to portray Pain and anguish?

Hey WAT
? & The Mysterians...the pride of Bay City Michigan...
Yeah, I remember...what I don't recall about this 1967 (I'm pretty sure) hit was a music VIDEO? Maybe just a 45 RPM record...Was video even invented way back then??? And if we are old enough to remember this song, maybe we'd be better off not admitting it.
"...you're gonna cry...cry, cry, cry...96 tears..."
E
