Faith,
Saw your post on my previous thread. We're both waiting to be served. I think it's going to happen for me on Friday, just a hunch.
My suggestion to you is that if you still believe in your marriage, go to plan B and stall the D process long enough for plan B to have some affect. What can it hurt? No contact may help you begin to heal and may help him realize what he stands to lose. In the end if you do D, having no kids, there's really no reason for you to have any contact with him anyway, it will only prolong the pain. Also, I recommend not negotiating a settlement with him, let him tell his lawyer what he wants and file, then discuss it with your lawyer before responding. Not to be difficult, but because you may make concessions based on emotion that are not in your best interest. That's what lawyers are for.
On another note, I will have my daughter with me for Thanksgiving, so I will have something to be thankful for. Try to have a nice holiday.
sad dad
[ November 21, 2001: Message edited by: sad dad ]

sad dad, thanks!
I appreciate your thoughts, really. I've been trying to decide if I should post a question about it or not. Like I said, I'm just sort of numb right now.
Yes, I think I will go to Plan B. I'll work on my letter over the weekend and have it for him when he gets back in town, and I won't meet with him like he wants to.
I'm glad your daughter will be with you. faith,
"I've been trying to decide if I should post a question about it or not."
I think you should. See what some of the MB veterans have to say. I'm in no better situation than you are so I would ask for opinions of those more qualified than me.
sad dad
