Please, can you explain me how to find all the post of a certain member , knowing only the user name and not the membership number. I am not sure if he/she ever posted, saw the name only under: welcome our newest member. There does not exist this option uner SEARCH.<p>Thanks

Well it's probably too late now, but I clicked on the newest user name at the front of the board pages and it game me the newest users member number. The person you seek obviously isn't on that page now. But if you happened to have bookmarked ithat page with her name on it you could still likely click her name.<p> jd

Ok, I went to the search option. In the first box under "search words" I typed in my user name. I had it search only in General Questions II, with the box "match all terms above" checked, It pulled up a whole crapload of my posts and threads I have posted to.<p> I would bet that if you don't find any posts by that user doing it this way that she hasn't posted anything.<p> Of course you would want to do a search in the "search all open forums" catagory.<p> Hope this helps.<p> jd

Thanks but I tried with my user name and didn't get results and with her user name I got similar names. i assume you got your post cause you have a signature with jd also and maybe she hasn't.<p>I hope the Moderator will answer me.<p>Anyway thanks

you do have to make sure the user name is typed exactly the same, all caps, lower cases, underscores, it has to be identical.

Yes, I am aware of that, but as I mentioned with MY user name : no results, like I don't exist with her user name : only few similar and in the post where are in the signature.<p>Anyway, thanks<p>Moderators help!!!!

Hello,<p>Unfortunately, the only way to search for a user without knowing the user number is to do exactly as jdmac1 has suggested. Moderators do not have any more specific access than users do.<p>If the individual you are concerned about posts any kind of harrassing messages, notify both the moderators immediately and the situation will be dealt with as soon as possible. <p>PLEASE, keep in mind that virtually all MB forum Moderators are volunteers and are not employed by Marriage Builders in any way. We have regular jobs and cannot monitor the forums constantly. The best way to reach us is to use our email addresses: Tempest2@hotmail.com and MBMagnolia@aol.com <p>I'm sorry not to be able to supply you with the solution you sought.
