So I decided I needed to do something to shake up my life and give me some needed self respect.
I have always said that I wanted to go skydiving, so last saturday I went and jumped out of a plane 2 1/2 miles in the sky. WOW!!! My WH went with me and watched. I think he was pretty impressed, but that is not why I did it. This was a pure Plan A move, somthing for me and it was awesome. For the first time since DDay I walked around all day with a smile on my face.
Even now, when my mind starts to wander to our problems and I start feeling a little hopeless, I think to myself-hey, you jumped out of an airplane, YOU CAN DO ANYTHING! And I smile again.
So my advise to all is simply this, find the one thing you always said you would do and DO IT. NOW!
You will feel self respect and pride in yourself that you have forgotten existed. Do it on your own. Nothing can taint the experience if it is all yours. You will be able to hold it in your heart and mind as your very own accomplishment. Face a fear, climb a moutain, run a marathon, jump out of an airplane. LIVE!!! That is what plan a is right?! Live your life the best way you can. Do something all for YOU that makes YOU proud of YOURSELF!
My adrenaline rush is still a little high today, if you could not tell. But I hope someone takes my advise, I have not felt this good about myself in 2 months.

You're post is awesome!!
The week I found out about my WH's EA I started running - something I always wished to do but really didn't think I could actually do....
It's been 4.5 months since D-day, and I'm actually running 10 to 15 miles a week!!
Two weeks ago I was attacked while running. I fought off my attacker and pepper sprayed the hell out of him. ((I HIGHLY recommend pepper spray to all you females out there - it works AWESOME!!))
The next day I went back out running.
Nothing is going to stop me. Not some loser who doesn't see others as human, that's for sure.
Anytime I'm tired or my legs are sore, I think to myself...would I rather have this pain, or the pain I felt back in July? and I go run.
I've started lifting weights and kickboxing now too! Not only am I in great shape (number three on WH's EN's - woo hoo), but if I'm ever assaulted again, the guys going to have more than just pepper spray to deal with !!
Wheeee
I'm free
LLL

Over coming fears. You made yourself overcome one big fear that perhaps haunted you, now you KNOW you can conquer this fear ... AN AFFAIR THAT'S THREATENING YOUR MARRIAGE.
Actually, the A is a symptom, but still a formidable FEAR.
I am in awe of you, Needing. Very inspiring.
Lv,
Jo

Thanks guys,
It really has helped me keep a bit of focus and to know that I can do anything, no matter how scarry it may be. And yes, the fear of losing my M is my biggest right now. Will I overcome it, yes. I may not have the outcome I most desire right now. But I will overcome the fear of being left. No matter what happens with my M, I can overcome it and be a better person in the end.
