Well, after posting last night, and asking some opinions about how to act towards my H, I feel like I did a pretty decent job. He came in at midnight (the time he gets home from work) and I was watching a little TV. He watched some with me and then unpacked some of his stuff (he had spent several nights at a hotel). He started some laundry, and I told him that I wouldn't mind washing his clothes today. He went ahead and put a load in. He then came to bed, and I didn't even ask if he had been with OW. I am dying to know, but I figure I will know soon enough. I asked him about his job and some other non-confrontational things. Then, we went to sleep. This morning, I went to see the C and he watched the kids (although I think he slept most of the time). We then ate lunch together before he went to work. As he was leaving, he told me that he hasn't said much to be about the state of the M because he really isn't sure. I asked if it was over with OW or not, and he said he goes back and forth on that too. He said that he was trying but that he didn't want to get my hopes up either. He said that he knows he has said a lot of rude, uncaring, unkind things. He didn't apologize but at least he recognizes that. So, I guess the night was good and he will be back here tonight.
It is so hard to not get my hopes up and just take one day at a time!

sadathome,
I see that you are fairly new here, first welcome, second sorry that you have to be here. But you are amongst friends, there are great people here, great info.
Keep posting it helps, so much!!!
I noticed your last line of your post "It is so hard to not get my hopes up and just take one day at a time!"
And I just wanted to share the philosphy that I have lived with the past 11 months. "I expect nothing, but I maintain hope!"
Like I said keep posting, sounds like you did a great job not LBing last night.
Dawn

Thanks Dawn --
I like the philosophy you gave -- "I expect nothing, but I maintain hope!"
It is just so hard to get to that point of acceptance -- I may not be married for the rest of my life; my H may leave me; my H doesn't love me, etc.
I guess it just takes time and one day at a time.
