My counselor suggested Celexa for me. I'd taken Zoloft, but didn't like how it affected me. Has anyone had good/bad experience with Celexa?
Thanks,
MOM

Thanks Cali. I'm going to urgent care tonight to get some. Also, can't sleep, so will see if I can get something for that as well. Need to keep my strength up.

Hi,
Just a note... Celexa is a GREAT drug for most people..I actually think at some level..depending on the depressive features.. it is a miracle drug.My H is on it.. several clients have used it.. and it works great.. But w/ all drugs.. you can't generalize it for everyone.
Hope you are feeling better.

I've been on Celexa for three weeks now and I'm not noticing any big difference so far. Psychiatrist recently increased dosage.
The one medication that I have found to be a great help is Xanax. Since dosage increased to .5 mg, I have been able to get a good night sleep almost every night. I was only getting 2-6 hours sleep before that. It also greatly reduces my anxiety, which in turn helps me not want to interrogate my W. Basically, the Xanax has helped me have more patience, which is crucial.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I will talk with the doctor about the suggested anti-d's.
