And he was with OW, UGH!!!!!<p>I have been so nice latley, very supportive of him, having to go to school and all.<p>Sent him a package at her house, it contained a bottle of Jovan with a note "I like the way you smell, always so good" the new Dave Koz CD with a note "Enjoy on your way home" He really liked this gift and thanked me a number of times on the phone tonight. A bag of Hot Tamales w/note "Thought you might want these for the road" and then a red ferrari matchbox car w/note "Seen this and couldn't resist"<p>Left all the notes open so they could be read by who ever was looking over his shoulder.<p>Had to call his parents and give them the # where he was so they could call their son. Sad that he didn't want his parents to know where he was.<p>
It was a tough day for me, shouldn't have been but was!!!<p>He will be here on Thursday, am not sure how I feel about that, will maintain a positive attitude!!<p>Dawn

Good for you Dawn...know it must have been tough. It will definitely accomplish your objectives though.<p>I wish I had done something like that. We didn't send him anything....he was so horrible on my birthday. I couldn't believe he could be that mean. So....<p>I think you did well !!!!!

Hi Dawn, <p>Yup, been there! My H spent his birthday with OW, as well. She took him away for a romantic weekend. Grrrr. BUT...my H came over on the night of his b-day and I gave him his gifts and we went out to dinner. As it turned out, my gifts were much better than OW's! He said his weekend away was "okay-ish" and she only bought him a toiletries bag that he didn't even like! I, on the otherhand, bought him things I knew he would love because we have a history and I KNOW him! <p>Sounds like your presents were awsome and well done to you! Painful as it is, sounds like you did awesome. <p>love,

My H and I were separated on his birthday that horrible year. It was when I was seeing breaks in the fog but it came and went. I still remember that his Bday was on a Friday. He told me that he wanted to celebrate with me, but that he was always "too tired" on Friday night afte work to do anything, so we could celebrate Saturday. Much later, when the A came to light and I had access to receipts I found a receipt for a bar the night of his bday. But I have to take consolation in the fact that he was here the next morning, we spent the entire day together, I gave him his carefully chosen gifts, and he took me out for a nice dinner. Wonder what lie he told the OW that day about where he was for 14 hours.

Now I must come up with even an awesomer gift for CHRISTMAS!! WH WH will be here Thursday, sons B Day is Friday will be 20.<p>Any suggestions for Christmas?<p>Dawn
