Ok, talked with WS on phone 5 times yesterday. She is really struggling after our joint session with SH. Still seeing OM and even admitted to reading Surviving in front of him?? I don’t get that. Said her boss took her to lunch today, told her to dump him and work on M. She said all of her friends would support her working on M, even the one I dislike the most.
I almost LB’ed once but “divine intervention” lost cell phone connection.
She says her biggest issue is Trust, how do we restore trust? I said all I need is the opportunity.
She said I’m making major deposits just by talking to her in this manner while she continues seeing OM. I compared him to me, does he have the character, courage and fortitude to do what I’m doing, (he is Divorced as his wife had an affair). She laughed and said no, so I asked what kind of man do you want to be with. Silence.
Supposed to meet today to exchange EN and LB questionnaires. She actually discussed some of her most important needs with me.
Have Kids until the 2nd, so my log ons will be few.

OK, dad, this is good. If her boss and others are going to bat for your marriage, let them use their influence for you. What I mean is that you could say the exact same things, but she wouldn't hear you. (I wish I had been so lucky, but my wife's denials effectively blocked this outsider influence, I think.)
Very important now to avoid ALL LBs!!!
Good luck!
Now, for the title of your post, re: roller coaster. Yep, an apt comparison that was widely in use when I showed up here.
But, I will take credit for the "alien abductee" comparison to describe our WSs.
examples of use: "she acts like she's been abducted by aliens and had her brains scrambled." "she's in control of the Mothership." "beam her and Dennis Rodman back up there, PLEASE!!"
Another WS comparison that has faded a bit was brought to us by now-absent poster mbtrk. He introduced us to moose brain worms - a parasite that mooses (moose?, meeses?) get that causes them to act weird and do stupid things.
examples of use: "she's got moose brain worms coming out of her ears." "yep, right after I heard the 'just friends' line again, there was another MBW squirming on the kitchen floor."
WAT
[ December 29, 2001: Message edited by: worthatry ]

We never met to exchange questonnairs on Saturday. She called and LM on my home MAchine, Sahying she "had to go to a cocktail party tonight" I LM on her machine. NO response.
One of the things that burns my [censored] is the way WS's insult our intelligence. What's up with that. Like, she couldn't call my cell. Gee, I wonder why, feeling guilty???
And antother thing, whats up with OM hanging around when his Girlfriend is reding MB stuff infront of him, either he is very stupid, or very confident. THis is a man who was dumped 4 weeks ago. MY guess is che is not being "totally" honest with him.

If WS talk to you WS will have to face it.

quote:
And antother thing, whats up with OM hanging around when his Girlfriend is reding MB stuff infront of him, either he is very stupid, or very confident. Let it go dad, they are insane. Go watch Lord of The Ring or something w/ your kid.

Red.
"What make you think that she does that in front of OM ?. "
She told me...
Another thing she said, which is a "tell" of whats going on, She said, How do I know you won't date someone?
I Laughed, What is she protecting herself from???
Gee, do you think she still has feelings???
I have transended the current situation and I firmly believe there is nothing she can do to make me love bust. I will write another post today, this evening or tomorrow describing what I think will happen next...

You know when my H asked me if I had been seeing or dating someone (he asked lots of times), I used to tell him NO but after that didn't phase him, I started telling him ....nothing...just looked. It was important to me to make him wonder. It was healthy for me. Oh yea then I started doing more stuff for me.....
Now when H starts to babble, I tell him that I can't carry on a conversation with him because he is babbling and I don't understand what he is saying. Of course then he 'wants to clarify and when he starts listening to what he is saying, he begins to see his babbling'..... he even said it the other night. New techinque? Kinda crazy but it works!
L.
