Hi guys, long time, huh.

Welp, I was reading along and came across Pepperband's response to HelenWheels (btw, love her nic) on the thread titled: "Putting on the Asbestos Suit ..."

Pepperband asked some questions of Helen, which I ended up asking myself. Most of them with "yes" answers.

So, I'm wondering a couple things. Has anyone else answered most of these with a "YES", and if so .... whats the diagnosis, PEPPER?

</font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote:</font><hr /><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Pepperband's Questions to HelenWheels:</font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">1. Do you "think" too much?
2. How good are you at "living in the moment"?
3. Are you suspicious of good times, because they won't last?
4. Do you worry more than is good for you?
5. Are you preoccupied when having a good time, as if you are not fully present?
6. Do you feel vigilance is nearly always warranted?
7. Are you good at letting go and having fun?
8. Do you enjoy laughing at your own foibles?

My answers:
1. Oh gawd, yes.
2. Not real good YET.
3. Absolutely yes.
4. Yes.
5. Not really.
6. Some.
7. Yes.
8. All the friggin time, maybe too much. I'm a dork.

Cool! A quiz!

1. Do you "think" too much? No. At least I don't THINK so!

2. How good are you at "living in the moment"? Hm... What time is it? Actually, I think I'm okay at it, especially if I'm doing something with other people. By myself, I think too much!

3. Are you suspicious of good times, because they won't last? Yes.

4. Do you worry more than is good for you? Heck yeah.

5. Are you preoccupied when having a good time, as if you are not fully present? I daydream a lot... ...what was the question again?

6. Do you feel vigilance is nearly always warranted? Yes

7. Are you good at letting go and having fun? Not nearly as much as I should be.

8. Do you enjoy laughing at your own foibles? Very much so.

Who cares about a diagnosis .... let's just make fun of ourselves ...... I need a laugh at my expense!

I just had a heartwrenching tearful convo with the 16-year old -know-everything son.... and I'm undone.

I applied radical honesty .... and I have to come down off the emotional pogo stick ..... this kid is a pistol and he plum wears me out.

Somebody make fun of me!
