My husband is having an affair. I have asked him to leave. He didnt want to and asked if I would let him end this in his time and in his own way. Jenn advised plan B.

My question....the husband of the other woman has no idea my husband and his wife are having an affair. He thinks she out of town this weekend on business. Do I tell him?

The best thing you can do is immediately call the OW's husband and inform him of the affair. The Harley's believe that when the affair is exposed to the light of day and everyone knows then the affair usually crashes very quickly. What will probably happen is that the OW when confronted with the end of her marriage will immediately break off contact with your husband.
If you do not inform her husband then you are in fact enabling the affair to continue. Finally, if the roles were reversed would you not wish for the OW's husband to inform you about the affair if you do not know? How can the OW's husband fight for his marriage if he does not know what is going on?
In short, for the sake of your marriage you should immediately contact her husband and tell him everything you know. You need to do this and I think you know this too. I wish you luck.

What the OW has been telling your husband is not necessarily the truth. Of course the OW will tell your husband that she is unhappy and wants out of the marriage but is waiting for the right time. This may or may not be true. The point is that right now she is able to have fun and sex with your husband knowing that her husband and her home is waiting for her at the end of the day. By informing the OW's husband she is forced to confront the issue of moving out or working on the marriage. If she moves out then there is enormous stress going on in her life. All of a sudden the reality may set in and most of the time she is in a rotten mood dealing with the lawyers. She will not have the time and patience for your husband and will not be so much fun for him.
On the other hand, she may be lying to your husband because she enjoys someone else paying attention to her and having a lover on the side. I would not believe anything that she has told your husband.
If you do not make the call then you are enabling the affair to continue. Of course your husband will advise against it. You are threatening to put an end to his fun. Stop allowing your husband and this OW to manipulate you. You deserve better than this.

Good Luck

What you are being told about the OW wanting out of her M is a load of poop. Know this, most A's are based on the fact that each A partner has something bad to say about their respective spouses. Otherwise how will the A look attractive?

Imageine this:

WS: I have a great W and family. That's why I want to hurt them in the worst way and have an A.

OP: I also have a great H and family. I need your help so that I can take my H to the cleaners and take him for all he's got. Oh yea and dump my beautiful children on him because I love them sooo much.

The first sentence in both their statements does NOT happen in an A. The rest of it does and then some.

Take this info and learn how you can work with it to the advantage of yourself and your family. In time it will be to the advantage of your H who right now is not acting like an H and deserves the title of WS (wayward spouse).

JMHO,
L.
