I just got back from 5 days in Phoenix for spring training. I'm a life long Cubbies fan and it was a fantastic trip. I was with 5 HS buddies and we had a great time. Lots of baseball, some hiking in the mountains, tennis, sightseeing, great dinners and martini bars. It was a perfect and much needed vacation.

Now that I'm back, life will get back to normal and I can hurry up and wait for my W to make the next move with the D. She settling into her new home and I'm settling into my new (or should I say old) home. The ball is in her court. She has no more excuses not to get this (the D) over with so I'll sit here and wait (just as I've been doing for months and months). The next few weeks should be very telling if she intends to go through with this. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, my hopes up but my expectations low.

Nick,

Yeah, I'm starting to get back on track. Don't know how my W's doing, I really haven't talked to her in a week. I stopped at her new place last Friday to drop the dog off and it was a total mess. She's had it for 3 weeks and it looked like she just moved that day. I was back in my house less than a week and you would never know it, but that's just how I am. I'm picking the dog up today so I'll see if she made any progress.

Thanks,
sad dad
