Hi Twyla,
Doing ok. Will be posting status in the near future. Just taking a rest about me and I thought even from MB but can't seem to keep from posting!!! LOL!!
Thanks for your concern and generous offer on my thread. It really means a lot to me to read and feel the support.
I am finally getting to the point where this A stuff is no longer getting under my skin just being irritating (like a mosquito bite). One remedy is to just spit on it! Hm..... thinkin about that one!!!
I really miss the islands and my parents. But this is where my bread and butter reside for the moment.
How are you doing?
Aloha, L.

Ah, Orhid, the islands. The beautiful waves, the rising sunrise. I was there for 3 weeks with a friend of mine. The friend, is a single art teacher. She gave herself a gift of 3 months in Hawaii after she retired from teaching high school art. We stayed at the army base with her married friends.
Yes, you miss your family, and of course the beautiful weather, the waves are what enchanted me. So beautiful in color, and the height. I saw 3 rainbows while I was there. They are so vivid, and I felt I could touch them. And those little critters, ohhh.. I forgot what you call them. But I had one that got through the screen in our bedroom, and woke up one morning and he was on my bed looking at me. Until I moved, !!!!!
My friend, she had to catch him and open the window and let him out. They had a cat, so sometimes, he would bring his presents to us.
It is a beautiful island, and so many wonderful sights to see. I wished that I was able to go to the mainland. To see the volcano actions, and the hot myrth from deep inside. But time was short for me, and $$$ was limited.
I am praying for you Orchid, this is difficult, and your little guy is having a difficult time too. God does not like what your husband is doing. Just like my husband, and what he did and what he is doing. I will put you in my prayer list at church. Thinking of you always. A friend in Michigan

Hi Faith4me,
Good to hear from you. Glad you had a nice trip to the islands. My parents live very near a place called rainbow falls. It sounds more glamours than it really is but basically it is a cave over some water and just the way the sun hits it, there is a rainbow on most days. Their city gets a lot of rain but is built in such a way that most of it runs off to the ocean. You don't really need an air freshner because most of the flowers which in many cases grow wild outside the home give off such a fragrant scent. Why even the airport smells like plumeria, pikake, orchids, etc. On yea, that's because of all those flower lei stands..... lol
There is a lot I miss there. I was brought up to receive and give lots of love. Even your neighbors were like family. All this anger and hate stuff is quite foreign to me and probably shows in the way I handle it. I just want to roll it up in a ball and throw it back. Just not in my nature.
However, the hereditary nature of my personality also is one of low tolerance to those that hurt others. So the constant battle in my soul between giving love and hating bad greatly stressed me out these past few years. It is taking it's toll and it is showing. But I am also feriously stubborn (another family trait - LOL!!) and the benefit of that is still around.
Ahhh.... the balance of life. Sometimes the qualities we once thought were bad, can be turned around and used for our good. In some cases for our survival.
Hope things are getting better for you. Tell that SNL I said hi, been thinking a lot about u 2. Tell him L, is thinking about the balance of his life also. hm..... should make him wonder, doncha think?!?!??!
Hugz, L.
