grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, when I get here I have to log in. Then I make a post. Then I go to make another post and it tells me I am not logged in! Why do I have to log in after every other post now?? And then when I log back in, it takes me back to the MAIN forum page and NOT to the thread I was working on!
ok rant over, anyone have a Midol?

Mel:
I had that problem when I tried to use Netscape 7 for a browser. I don't know if it's what happened to you, but when I switched back to internet exploder, all was "right" with the world...

Are you saying that you don't have to log in multiple times, Q?? I have IE 6.0. Should I upgrade? I don't have this problem on any other forum. So frustrated.....

Mel:
Hm... Well, actually these days I prefer using Safari for a browser on my Mac'n'cheese.
But I could check my PC when I get home this weekend.

Yep, count me in. I've gotten in the habit of blocking and copying any post prior to hitting the "Add reply" button in anticipation of being required to log in again. At least that way I don't lose the post and can paste it into the new "legal" reply box.
Perhaps post a message to the geeks in the Technical Issues or whateveritscalled board.

I do not have trouble, I have saved this site in my favorites on a forum message, while I was logged in, that solved my problem.... maybe worth trying.

Melody, No Midol, but I did buy some of those heat patches and wore one on my stomach all day. It made me feel SOOOO much better! Now, if I could just get the log in thing figured out...

Melody, I've been having the same problem with Netscape. I too now copy and paste my posts to a Word document before hitting send b/c it often logs me out. I never seemed to have that problem when I used Explorer, but my computer's gone crazy and Explorer no longer reads any javascript for me. Sorry I can't be of much help, but I certainly empathize!

Yup cookies on. The login stays for 30-45 minutes usually.. Then I have to relogin. I think the cookie timeout's are set up too short or something
