My fiancee had a 5 year affair during her last marriage and (to my understanding) ended it 3 weeks after meeting me two years ago. She was divorced one year when she met me, and the affair was local for a year and was a long distance (200 miles) for the last 4 years.

My concern is whether I should have any concerns ... I trust I am meeting her emotional and physical needs ... and I am guessing that is what this other person provided her before. She still travels to the area where this lover resides on occation. I have an uneasy feeling when this happens ... is it just my imagination?

I guess I am just a bit insecure, infidelity was never an issue in my previous marriage or my lifestyle. How best can I get help to overcome my insecurity and be restassured no hanky panky is on the horizon ...

After one strays is it that much easier to do it again? Should I be on my toes and make sure she isn't put into a postion of tempation?

Suggestions are needed here my friends,

thank you.

Well let's look at it from an outsider's point of view(mine).

How many times have you caught her lying to you (even for the smallest of things)? If she has done so many times, then you've got a person who is totally dishonest.

How many times has she broken her promises to you? If she has done so many times, then you've got a person who doesn't give a da** about being the source of your unhappiness.

These are rhetorical questions that MAY show you what you can expect if you marry her.

Answer: Yes

"Should I be on my toes and make sure she isn't put into a postion of tempation?"

Why would you want to enter a marriage in which you would have to play detective. Unless you prevent her from coming in contact with other people there is no way you can prevent her from having an affair if she wants to. The past is usually a good predictor of the future.
