If my H says he wants to try to work things out, how do I know how to do that? He only tells me he has been unhappy for a long time about everything. He is not a talker. He doesn't like to talk. We started marriage counciling, but I have only been twice, and he goes for the first time this week. Right now, I feel like everything is the same as it was before I found out about the A. I'm hanging in limbo, but I'm afraid to persue anymore questions. I know he'll leave, he said it when this first came out. He was thinking of seperating. But decided he wasn't going anywhere. Too many questions, or too much talk may push him out. I can't wait till he has his first session, and see if he tells me anything. He said he doesn't know if he cares about me or loves me. Is there anything I can do or say to at least get him to care about me? To say those words, "I care about you", doesn't take much. If he has given up on the marriage, does it mean he gave up on the kids too?

Hi,
These are common questions, but there are answers.
You need a plan, and I suggest you get the book "Surviving an Affair" by Dr Harely. It's not as simple as saying he wants to try. There are many things that can go wrong, and you should get as much advantage as you can as you start this difficult process.
