June 9th!!! At 10 a.m.!!! GRRR!!!!

Another month to go.

Another month that H isn't paying for his children.

Another month that I have to wait before getting some closure on some financial issues.

Another month of stress and worry about what's going to happen.

On the plus side:

Another month to keep on taking care of me, and looking damn fine for court (sorry, but looks DO matter! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" /> )

Another month, and it will happen (the original date was for today, but it had to be postponed).

Another month to enjoy the boys (not that it ever stops! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" /> ).

And finally,

Another month to vent about it on MB!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Couldn't you ask for back pay ?. My Ex did and the judge gave her at least 2 weeks ...

redhat: Good point on the back pay. I'm currently being supported by social services ("Ontario Works" as it's called here), so any "back pay" would go directly to them anyways. I'm just upset that he's not having to pay a red cent for the well being of his boys yet. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" />

Of course, there is the issue of him SELLING the family mini van... my lawyer is asking for MY half of that money (as well as for the 8 person camper trailer), so that I can get a vehicle for me and the boys... and the sooner the better.

I really don't think we'll be able to get a court date on that any sooner than June 9th. But thanks for the reminder anyways... I'll email my lawyer in a few days to see what she has to say about it (if we can get a date sooner to have that money issue taken care of, as it shouldn't affect my other current income).
