I have been married for a year and a half, only living together for 6 months due to the military. The more time we spend together, the more we don't get along. I am finding that I don't know him like I thought. We have known eachohter for 11 years, the last 5 he has been away. We didn't formally date, we lived in two different states. I am begining to wonder if we made a mistake. I feel like we jumped the gun. We love eachother and our freindship seems ok but we don't meet each others needs on a higher level. We currently live in Germany and I am out here with no family or freinds and no idea what to do. Feeling very trapped and confused.

Hi and welcome to MB,
Get ahold of the book by Dr Harley: His Needs/Her Needs. Go up to the top of this page and click on the concepts section. Read all that is there (even the infidelity stuff). Then print off and take the emtional needs questionnaire. See if he can take it.
Why is he acting different to your marriage vs your friendship? Did he have issues prior to your marriage? Bad former relationship elsewhere? Bipolar?
L.
