i NEED to get in touch w/ braveheartanew. I think there is a problem. my H may have highjacked my letter I sent in when I first started visiting this site. I accidentally sent a email direct to braveheartanew and it went thru my H's server. I know it was sent but am frantic about what happened from there.
HELP

Orchid,
the emailwas attempted when I first registered. well over a week ago. I did not quite remember that it may go through my H server and therefore SENT would show up in his mail. If braveheartanew actually recieved the email, as it was sent, and it was recieved and it was responded to, it went to my H's mailbox.
H secrets more time on computer lately and actaully writes more than forwarding jokes etc.
I just need to know whether or not he has been responding in my name to origanal email sent direct to braveheartanew. I personally have never.
What to do? How do I possibly find out?

IMHO, send another e-mail. Just ask simple common questions to test the waters.

Make the e-mail as if both you and your H were reading it.

Orchid, you are sweet,
lemme explain more.
Ya know the list of blue underlined moderators at the top of the discussion page (it includes Dr. Harley)? Kinda implies you can email direct for a not posted question, looks more private? That's where I clicked. A post box like this one did not come up, instead one that looks like all the other "contact me" boxes. There was an encoded address in the "to" box, braveheartanew. I didn't want to air my Hs dirty laundry and I was feeling desparate. It appears that if one clicks directly on a moderator, that travels through the direct server to the computer you are on, not the email adddress you are working from. I know this because I once caught an Significant Other chatting on porn sites on MY computer this way. The server main was in account and name. therefore, the mail from sites came back to me.
The original email never appeared in the posts ( I didn't want it to at that point)so I am assuming that it went back to main server, my H account. Easily deleted from email account records. I wish thatr I hadn't totally spaced that little computer detail.
I don't know what to do. My H is a habitual liar and lives in a perfect rosy colored bubble. Oh and is he good with the fog and smoke show, or so he thinks. If he is now reading and responding in my name to a private situation, through his account......
I never recieved a relpy. I don't dare click back up to the moderators and/or main group(including Dr. Harley) of names and ask braveheartanew directly because I can not type in their email address (privacy for them) direct through my account, it'll just cycle through the main server again.
heavy sigh

Are you using two different computers with two different email accounts?

When you click on the moderators at the top, it opens your email program, creats a new email and uses the default email address (whoever signed into your computer.)

Click on a moderator's name again and see who the email is FROM. Then delete it without sending it.

Also, the moderators are not there for any advice/counseling issues. They are there solely for maintenance of this web site and these forums.

The original email never appeared in the posts ( I didn't want it to at that point)so I am assuming that it went back to main server, my H account.
It's an email, not a post in these forums so it wouldn't show up here.

If it was replied to by braveheart, then the reply from braveheart would have been sent to the address it came from. If it was not replied to, then it would not have showed up in yours or hubby's email inbox.

You might want to post this in Braveheartanew's forums Negociating in Marriage or PlanA/B. Brave might not be checking GQII.

Moderators are not supposed to give personal/situational advice in emails or forums.

I will send this thread link to Brave.

[edited because I left out the "not"]

Thank you all,
nope, not 2 computers, internet signs on automatically under H accout. did not know moderators were not there to do personal at time of first letter, was in dispair at tome of composition of original email, figured it out one millisecond too late, knew i could be in deep doo-doo if H figured out cause"we have no problems and we have perfect marriage" attitude. Besides, I must be mentally unstable and imagining things.
maybe this could be a mixed belssing? Hmmm... Maybe H will see that I mean business and will work on my end of the marriage? Maybe maybe maybe
oh well
again thank you all everso and stay blessed
