I spoke with the investigating officer this evening, and he told me that he had arrested H about 1/2 hour earlier. So H is "in the cells downstairs" for the night.

He'll have a bail hearing tomorrow, and will probably be released with the same conditions as before. I won't know the details until next Wednesday, when the detective is back on shift.

H claims that the reason he was absent at Monday's court hearing, was b/c his lawyer didn't tell him about it! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

As I told the detective, "sheesh! Even I knew about that date since the end of May!".

No doubt, I'll sleep well tonight. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

Oh... and now that the arrest has taken place, I have been advised (by the detective) to continue with access as before. Still no calls from the IL's with the next date... but when they get around to it, and if I have anymore weekends open (it's a busy summer <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" /> ), then we'll work out the next visitation for H and the boys.

I didn't sleep as well as I would have liked to. The power flicked off and on at around 1am, and woke me up (the park light in my back yard was buzzing loudly as it re-lit). But the sleep I did have, was definitely peaceful! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

O: Yes... it's really quite funny how H landed himself in jail this time. I LOVE your comment on the "brownie points". <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> It gave me a good chuckle.

What a relief this must be for you.

FYI, I have a friend who failed to appear for court. I don't have many of the details about it. He had moved out of state, so I'm not sure he even knew he was supposed to be there. He's being held WITHOUT bail until his court dates. This will be for over a month. I'm 99% sure this is for his on ongoing drama with ex involving custoday and/or child support. The court's opinion seems to be that they shouldn't allow bail for someone who didn't appear for their court date. I'll be following your story closely and praying for the best for you and your children.

H was released again this afternoon. I won't know about his bail conditions until Wednesday, as I mentioned earlier.

I cannot post about anything else until next week sometime. Please pray for all the people involved. I will update more details as soon as I can. <img border="0" alt="[Teary]" title="" src="graemlins/teary.gif" />
