Hi Z, Long time no talk!!! I know you have been busy and wanted to tell you thanks for helping out. Hi Orchid, Yea, I’m in and out these days. It’s so much easier to run someone else’s life then my own… We’ve been doing fine. Somehow STL and I are still in a good recovery despite all the family issues. I give MB a huge amount of credit for that. The concepts work in the long haul. Sometimes we slip here or there, but it’s easy to get back on track. STL has been out of work since October. We are hanging in though. Thank goodness I still have a job (knock on wood). Keep hoping an interview pans out… but even interviews are hard to come by. The things we can get used to in life are most amazing. When the horrible and absurd become normal it gets pretty scary? We just try to do the best we can, get all the help we can and hope all of us turn out ok. The kids are getting big (LittleZ and my son).... they both start high school (9th grade) next month. My son is not a baby anymore. He’s 14, almost 6ft., and sooo cute. STL’s son is still in the residential treatment center. He just does not seem to make any progress so they intend to keep him there as long as the law will allow it. Maybe as much as another 2 years.. till he is 18. They have even discussed until he is 21 if they can find a way. We are struggling to get our feet on the ground after custody court order. The custody issue has been very hard on all of use.. the courts are just to strange… STL did not get sole custody. Instead the court ordered that LittleZ has to visit her mom for 3 weeks. And then in their brilliance they put in the court order that LittleZ will not be given an illegal substances… what?????? Since when is it ok to let a kid visit a home (to visit mother and older sister) that has a drug addict living there? Especially a drug addict with a history of being a sexual abuser, who gives the kids alcohol and illegal drugs? Parents have rights you know… rights to mess their kids up. I guess this why I’m getting a very short fuse for the bull people pull on each other. I’m so tired of people hurting each other with little to no thought. And I’m tired of a society that allows it, turns their heads and pretends nothing is wrong. How have you been doing? I get a glimpse here but have missed so much since I was away for so long. Z, Sorry to hear about the custody and job sitch for STL. Still keep doing the right thing for we each have to live with our own conscience. Seems like some don't have one and they appear to get away with murder but in reality, they never do. I am doing ok. My cousin died this weekend and we had to pull together as a family. It was nice to know my 2 boys (H & son) were there for me when I needed them most. My little one will be a fine man someday.....gosh, he is talking about when he has children (only 8 years old) YIKES <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" /> . LOL!!! But my little man has been so caring. I believe he would make a great H and dad!!! At least I hope so. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" /> My mom's health is slipping and they are making plans to move to a bigger city so the health facilities will be better. It's kinda sad since they love the town they are in. Work and all is sustaining. Company just got merged into a much bigger one......keep hoping they put me out of my misery (LOL <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> ) but so far I still have to work a lot. Guess I need to be grateful for work but I'd much rather be on a beach w/a cool long island ice tea!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> Got a 'little' pain from using the calculator too much along with some extended keying @ work. The stuff I type here is nothing compared to what I do at work. Glad you hear you and STIL are doing ok. Please tell him I said hi......sure would like to meet you 2 someday. take care.
