Hi All! I have finished reading this book, it's by Max Lucado, and it's an excellent read. I am going to post a paragraph or two from the Introduction/Chapter One each day... over the next several months. However, I will only post the first two paragraphs on this thread. If you want to read the rest of the story I am giving you two options:
1- Go to "The Kingdom Of Caerlon" under Divorcing/Divorced Board and follow along as I continue the story.
2- Go to your local Christian or Inspirational Bookstore and purchase the book by Max Lucado. I am in no way receiving anything from this, other than the satisfaction of sharing the first chapter of an excellent and very uplifting book by Max. The first time I read this book, it brought tears to my eyes, as the ending of this story has a powerful punch that hits you right between the eyes and really makes you think...
It is my sincere desire that by posting this first part of the book, perhaps some of you will pick up this book and read it - and let the Lord speak to you as He spoke to me.
May God bless everyone here who reads and/or follows along on this little story... Peace, Harold*****************

"He Still Moves Stones" - Max Lucado --- A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. (Matthew 12:20)
Imagine it's a Saturday afternoon in October. What you needed to get done today, you've already done. Your afternoon lies before you with no obligations. Free afternoons don't come as often as they once did, so you consider your options for the day. You pick up a paper to get some ideas. A movie? Nothing good is showing. Television? You can do that any time. Wait. What's this? An ad catches your eye:
---Special Art Exhibit
"Bruised Reeds & Smoldering Wicks"
2:00 to 4:00 Saturday Afternoon
Lincoln Library---
Hmmmm. It's been awhile since you've seen some good art. Bruised Reeds and Smoldering Wicks? Probably some nature stuff. Besides, the walk would be nice. You'll do it. You lay down the paper, put on a coat, and grab some gloves.
You're greeted by the musty odor of books as you walk through the library doors... ***to be continued***

Hi SoDisappointed! That's great. I rather imagine that you have already read the book. I'm trying to generate a little interest in it on these boards - it has so much to say and many folks here are hurting from shattered relationships. I think it would be of great help to them.
