You've got this stuff figured out. I also think your W knows you do as well. It is no accident that she is hiding behind the "I never wanted to be married" statement. I agree. 2Long has shown a remarkable willingness to be open to new ideas that seemed very dubious in his mind . I think willingness is KEY here. One has to be willing to be willing. And, 2Long has not objected to sheding his long held habits and thinking errors.... and some old hurts as well. And it ain't over by a long shot yet, either. I was going 2 say something modest like "huh uh, I still don't have a clue!", but the truth? I have a clue. Maybe even 7 or 8 of them. But it has taken me a long time 2 get 2 this point, this state of mind. All because I kept resisting, and resisting, and resisting. It was "easy" 2 resist, 2, because I was "right" and my W was "wrong". Really easy, huh? Useful position though? Heckfire no. And precisely because my resistance is exactly what prolonged me getting 2 this point. And what was the 2rning point, really? Well, though I "did it myself" (meaning, had 2 fix myself anyway, had 2 "get it"), I can put my finger right smack dab on the individual and the particular "item" that finally clicked: Spacecase, and Radical Forgiveness. Pure and simple. And it clicked, if I might presume, exactly the same way he described it doing so for him. But there were a lot of other players here and over at iloveulove.com that helped me 2 learn what I've learned. 2 numerous 2 list here (due in large part 2 my something like 5000 posts as 2long, T-zero, and Qfwfq!) Having said all that, I'm still not "recovered" fully, though if Pepper will let me, I'll call this "In recovery" <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" /> (starting last Thursday or so). Also, I haven't the foggiest notion (pun intended) whether the end result will be a rebuilt M or something else entirely. Because I realized, though I'd heard it many times, that the goal first had 2 be personal healing in order for the M 2 have a chance. I feel pretty nifty now, but our M still needs a lot of work (not just maintenance), but once I changed focus really from trying 2 force the M back in2 shape, it has started morphing back in2 shape (at least better shape) as an ancillary benefit! I think Pep's hit the nail right on the head: "we just need to be willing", open to the possibility, even if it goes against long-held beliefs...that is the door to changing those beliefs, to seeing things in a new way. Very much the path I tread towards forgiveness, VERY much...just to be willing... PS; Pep: we could have done without the "...for a guy" part though! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

The world may have 6 billion people in it NOW, but when JL was a kid? So... I have a request. I'm not in a cubicle...I have my own computer sales and repair business out of an office downtown. It's an old grocery store that closed, and they built it into a mini mall. So I'd have to get the insurance lady across the hall, the little jewelry store lady, the music teacher (yup, I get piano lessons next door), the real estate dude...and the most difficult one...the securities guy. I just can't see him singing that song in his 3 piece suit. Not very dignified!!

Ummm! I would like to let you know that my deep interest in the universe is because I was around when some of it was forming. Further, I didn't realize we were talking about TUNES as you refer to them. However, since you mentioned it, I do believe I do remember the urchins in my house singing that TUNE. Okay, lazybones!
Streptelasma was a Rugose Coral from the Ordovician. (that's a long time ago, before Dinosaurs by a bunch). A solitary coral that kind of looks like the planet crusher from Star Trek (2MCM gets 2 look THAT one up!).
Rugose corals are extinct, unlike JL and myself (we're just dormant, but the clock IS ticking!)
