Second Verse:
Oh, yes, I know the muffin man, The muffin man, the muffin man, Oh, yes, I know the muffin man, That lives on Drury Lane.

Now two of us know the muffin man, The muffin man, the muffin man, Now two of us know the muffin man, That lives on Drury Lane.
A few of us know the muffin man, The muffin man, the muffin man, A few of us know the muffin man, That lives on Drury Lane.

Thanks, Orchid!
Now I'm beginning to wonder what 'century' they're from. I don't think I'm far behind them.... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" /> H_P

Holy Cow, Leave for a few days, and all kind of neat threads go by.
I think a lot of 2long too. I am impressed. Besides that, 2long is a pretty nice guy. (Pretty describes now nice, not your looks - sorry 2long, I can't go that far.)
And JL, if your name was Always Teaching, it would work for me, I have learned a great deal from you. Thank you.

I was trying 2 find the book I wanted 2 send you in "response" 2 the hilarious one you sent me, but it's out of print!!!
I bought my copy (somewhere in a box that might not be opened for a few more years!) at Golly Gully about 15 years ago. It's called "The Cactus Sandwich and Other Tall Tales of the Southwest" by Don Dedera.
I like the chapter "If it ain't all that cold, why do they call it chili?". But my favorites are about Captain John Hance, who you probably know something about. I'll keep looking for a copy, but let me know if you've already seen it!

Hey, 2long, I have a question for you. You're a sky guy...can you give me a heads up on a decent beginners telescope? Hubby got me a Walmart special Meade a few years ago and it was horrible. Despite my warnings, my sis in law bought one too and hers sucks as bad.
I've been doing research, but without any real hands-on knowledge and no one around that's in to that kind of stuff...I'm kind of playing a guessing game.
I have a bid in on a used Celestron NexStar 114 GT on ebay...but if that falls through (which it probly will since I'm already at my top bidding price) would you recommend something else, or would that one be a good one?

2long: Never seen it, but it sounds good. I am late getting back to you today, by the time I said hi to everyone, it leaves me little time. I'll put you higher tomorrow, cause tonight I get to go over to MIL's "new" house and fix all the stuff that no one told her about before she bought the house. At least she figured some money in for it.
I am lucky, I think I have the best MIL that exists in the world. It is fun to help her out a little bit, after all she has done for us.
Hope4future, you still doing well? You had better be !!

Yeah, you are. It only took me about three to four weeks to reply to you.
If that doesn't make you laugh, I'll try to think up something else.
BTW, I don't worry much about you lately, that's a good sign. I suppose that means I believe you have "got it." Actually, I think you do.

A lot depends on what you're willing 2 spend (like, wouldn't it be great if somebody, for once, would NOT tell you that!!) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />
One can do pretty well with 500 or more bucks 2 burn. But, like many expensive hobbies, you can certainly spend thousands if you're so inclined!
Drop me an email (address below), and I'll answer in more detail.

Shameless, just shameless. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />
I'm laughing so hard, I can hardly type. I better quit, it's taken me 2 minutes to get this out, and I wore the letters off the backspace key.
